Este Pametan is a ship of generations, moving for more than a hundred years, towards a distant planetary system, “sentenced” to colonization. The flight is greatly delayed, and passengers begin to suspect that an error has crept into the calculation system, or, worse, the spaceship missed its target. John Regan does not believe in either of these - he suspects the control cell of a conspiracy, and therefore is trying to get to the bottom of to the essence of what is happening. The government, tired of fighting troublemakers like Regan, sentences doubters to liquidation, using a unit of hunters specially created for these purposes. Thomas Pascal is the most experienced liquidator. His task is to destroy Regan and his henchmen before they start a riot on the ship. But John is no stranger either. He has spent his entire life on the run, and therefore is not very worried about the outcome of the fight. The hunt has begun!

Неймовірна подорож у світ космічних пригод!
Книга "Бранці Есте" вразила мене своєю глибиною та оригінальністю сюжету. Автор майстерно створює атмосферу напруженості та невизначеності, коли пасажири зорельота "Есте Паметан" починають усвідомлювати, що їхня подорож може закінчитися катастрофою. Конфлікт між урядом та бунтівниками, а також боротьба за виживання на борту корабля, створюють динамічний сюжет, який тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Персонажі, зокрема Томас Паскаль та Ріган, прописані дуже детально, і їхні мотивації та внутрішні конфлікти роблять їх надзвичайно реалістичними. Книга піднімає важливі питання про свободу, владу та моральний вибір, і я вважаю, що вона буде цікавою не лише фанатам наукової фантастики, а й усім, хто цінує якісну літературу. Рекомендую всім, хто любить захоплюючі історії з елементами трилера та філософії!
