As part of the dynamics of international economic cooperation, the need for mutual settlement operations is activated, therefore the problem of organizing settlements occupies a significant place for economically active subjects, especially in the context of globalization of the economic space, with the functioning of transnational structures and the scale of export-import and international financial transactions. . When agreeing on the settlement procedure, the participants determine the form of payment for the purpose of fulfilling the financial obligation under the agreement - regulated methods of voluntary fulfillment of monetary obligations through a credit institution, characterized by specific features regarding the procedure for crediting funds to the account, a certain type of payment document, as well as a document flow procedure. The source of settlement relations is need, for one counterparty it is expressed in the need for alienation, for another in a shortage. This relationship gives rise as a consequence to a relationship with a credit institution. The need activates the entry of subjects into international settlement relations.
