In addition to erotic, philic, agapic love, the Greek language distinguishes a fourth kind of love - storgic love. We are rethinking storgia, just as agapy, philia, and eros have long been rethought. Storgia in our understanding means the desire to connect your soul with the soul of another person so that for you he ceases to be “another person”, “another I”, and becomes “another I”, with whom you can live as one whole. Storgia is a widespread and eternal phenomenon in humanity. The simplest illustration of storgia is the myth of the existence of two souls as halves released into the world to unite in love. The first part of this book reveals the basics, meanings and types of storgic love. The second part of the book gives an idea of the principles and stages of a man’s personal spiritual life, his Path of ascension. The third part talks about the female Path of ascension and the highest form of storgic love between a man and a woman.
