1849 Traveling through Switzerland, Anita Morrientes and her husband Alex meet interesting fellow travelers - the American Green and a dapper young man traveling incognito. An unexpected quarrel in the compartment forces the entire company to leave the station, as a result of which the spouses and their fellow passengers lag behind the train. This unexpectedly turns out to be a great success: the train is attacked by unknown bandits pursuing the young dandy. A series of firefights occurs, but the Maximovs and their companions manage to escape. And later they find out that the dapper young man is the Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph himself. He came to Switzerland incognito to meet his beloved, a certain Josephine, and this was not his last meeting with Anita and Alex...
