The son of a Japanese naval officer who survived the Battle of Tsushima became the most brilliant physicist of the 20th century. Despite some successes (in particular, in this new Reality, Japan won the Battle of Midway), the overwhelming military-economic superiority of the United States has taken its toll, and the war in the Pacific is inexorably heading towards the defeat of the Yamato Empire. And then the Japanese use a superweapon invented by a samurai genius - a weapon that allows you to control any physical processes. Airplane engines stop mid-air, artillery magazines of warships explode, and entire cities burn due to induced short circuits and fires on gas pipelines. Soviet scientists manage to create the same weapon. The war is on equal terms, but the powerful superweapon turns out to be too powerful - it threatens to get out of control and destroy the entire planet.
