In December 1914, the German High Seas Fleet almost met with part of the British Grand Fleet. What would have happened if this meeting had taken place, and how would the course of the First World War and the entire world history have changed? The meeting of one squadron of English dreadnoughts with the German Hochseeflotte in full took place. The British suffered a heavy defeat, but the outcome of the world war is still far from clear: the confrontation between the two fleets, which ended in a grandiose battle in the North Sea, lasted for two long years. Real naval battles of the First World War, only shifted in time and often having a different outcome.
