The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is one of the largest art museums in the United States, displaying more than 100,000 works from ancient times to the 21st century. Fundamental is the extensive collection of European painting and sculpture, including works created from the 12th to the early 20th centuries. A special place in the museum is occupied by works of American and Latin American art.
