The Galleria dell'Accademia in Venice is an art museum that houses the largest collection of Venetian painting from the 14th to 18th centuries. The gallery was founded by the Venetian Senate in 1750 as a school of painting, sculpture and architecture. At the beginning of the 19th century, the museum was transformed from an art school, its funds began to gradually increase. Cover: Gentile Bellini.
