Three thousand years before the fall of Tristram into darkness, there lived Uldyssian, son of Diomedes, a simple farmer from the village of Serama. Content with his quiet, idyllic life, Uldyssian is shocked when terrible events begin to unfold around him. Falsely accused of the brutal murder of two traveling missionaries, Uldyssian is forced to flee his father's home and embark on a path of risky trials in order to regain his good name. To his further horror, he begins to manifest strange new powers that no mortal could dream of. Now Uldyssian must fight the forces growing within him or risk losing the last vestiges of his humanity.
