Aimed at destroying the evil cult of the Triune, Uldyssian does not yet suspect that Inarius, the mysterious Prophet of the Cathedral of Light, is secretly helping him in this matter. Obsessed with the idea of restoring Sanctuary to its former prosperity, Inarius plays with Uldyssian, who has set himself the reckless task of destroying the world's two largest religions. But there is another participant involved in the game, who equalizes the forces. The demoness Lilith, the former lover of Inarius, herself is trying to use Uldyssian as a pawn, trying to make an army of nephalems out of people - god-like creatures more powerful than any angel or demon, who can turn everything around and raise Lilith to unattainable heights.
