All appraisers living in magical Geneva sooner or later become collectors. When works of art filled with the energy of Creation fall into our hands, the desire to possess them becomes almost irresistible. What can we say about things in which energy essences originated? I didn’t think that I would ever pine over something like Koschey over gold, but the exhibits of my mini-collection acquired some kind of sacred value for me. This is especially true for the White Thorn, a magic wand obtained in a relatively fair battle. Alas, dreaming about the prospects that the possession of a unique artifact opens up, I forgot that the elves consider the Thorn to be their relic. And it seems that it would be worthwhile to act wisely and give away an asset that is too toxic, but here’s the catch - the big-eared ones decided that an indispensable condition for handing over the wand was my death in a ritual duel. But I, for obvious reasons, completely disagree with this.
