The collection “Test of Realism” includes materials from a scientific and theoretical conference dedicated to the work of the famous Russian writer Yuri Mikhailovich Polyakov. The symposium took place at his alma mater, Moscow State Regional University, on the eve of the writer’s 60th birthday – November 10, 2014. Prominent philologists, writers, cultural experts, translators, and public figures made presentations. The publication is equipped with the most complete bibliographic index to date, covering four decades (1974 – 2014) and giving an idea of the diversity and scope of the author’s creative activity.
