Imagine there is no copyright
after payment (24/7)
(for all gadgets)
(including for Apple and Android)
Dutch researchers Joost Smeers and Mareike van Schendel believe that the current conditions for copyright protection are incompatible with the principles of a democratic society. This "extreme form of censorship" does not protect the authors of the works, but primarily serves the giant corporations who easily decide what we should see, hear or read. Understanding this problem, as well as the irrevocable transition to digital technology, should completely change the order of things, weakening the unreasonably tight controls and excessive cash flow in the field of copyright. Only then will a playground be created for equal partners - entrepreneurs in the field of culture and authors of works.
