The book was originally created to help an instructor explain to a beginner how and why a turn is made. In the process of writing, it seems to me, it was possible to achieve a certain depth and fundamentality of presentation, which made the book, or at least its second half, interesting for the expert skier. The book is not intended for coaches involved in the preparation of champions - if I had known, How to train a champion in alpine skiing Our skiers would have started winning long ago. I also do not recommend taking it to heart for people involved in preparing various methods for teaching skiing techniques. The book does not contain any methodology as such. This is in no way a dogma, but a guide to action.
