The book is a study of aesthetic experience that arises in the process of special activities aimed at achieving it. Based on the conceptual tools of the phenomenology of aesthetic dispositions, the author identifies aesthetic pilgrimage, aesthetic action and artistic-aesthetic activity as three types of aesthetic activity. Particular attention is paid to the justification and specification (using the example of the “bath ceremony”) of the phenomenon of aesthetic action. The second part of the study examines the specifics of artistic and aesthetic experience in its difference from aesthetic experience not related to the creation of works of art. The book is of interest to philosophers, cultural scholars, literary critics, art critics, psychologists and anyone interested in modern aesthetics, anthropology, ontology and theory culture.
