Of course, these were not yet the sports that we are used to today, but the beginning of the development of sports had been laid. As time passed, people came up with new, sometimes very strange sports entertainments in our modern opinion, such as knocking squirrels out of trees, pulling eels , fights between fishermen on boats and jumping over the backs of bulls...
