It would seem that playing “mother and daughter” is something purely childish, a sweet memory of distant childhood, when little girls, teaching their dolls, try to feel at least a little older. Alexander Mardan chose the title “Mothers and Daughters” for his play, although its heroines are no longer little girls. Then what or who is forcing them to play this strange game? Circumstances? Unmerciful puppeteer? Or maybe this is just a prank and a joke? This performance is a modern and frank story of two women, between whom, at first glance, there is and cannot be anything in common. However, they are united not only by chance and one for two, or rather, for three, a game, but also an uncontrollable desire to be happy and live a free and fulfilling life. And also an amazing sense of humor that does not leave the heroines even in the most difficult situations, it is not for nothing that the author of the play is an Odessa resident.
