My confessor told me more than once: “Vyacheslav, if you can not write, don’t write!” But I couldn’t help but write. And I didn’t always listen to my confessor. And therefore, over the years of my church life, I have accumulated a whole book of poems on Orthodox themes. These are the immediate responses of my church-going and, later, church-going soul to what is happening in the depths of my heart. Even if this is a landscape, even if it seems that I am describing some external events - first of all, this is about the inner deep content. Reflections on life and death. Many penitential poems.
