Five-year-old Jack spent his entire life in one room. This room was the whole world for him and a prison for his mother, in which she had been languishing for seven years. Here they played, read books, watched TV. Jack thought that everything he saw on the screen was just a fantasy and that nothing existed outside the room, only endless space. But his mother knew that their abode was a soundproof shed in the backyard of a crazy maniac.
