“He came, enchanted, and happiness came” - this is how Pablo Neruda recalled about the most famous poet of Spain, Federico García Lorca. His light-winged poetry seemed infinitely far from the confusion and catastrophes of the twentieth century. Even in his later surreal poems, Lorca appeared as if he were an inhabitant of another planet. However, in his euphonious fairy-tale songs, the sad voices of modernity were latently heard, to which the author could not remain indifferent. And the tragic death of the poet under the bullets of Francoist soldiers may have been predicted in his poems: “There are ships that are just waiting for a careless glance to calmly go under water.” This edition includes the most famous poems of Federico Garcia Lorca in the best translations. Some of them are printed in Russian for the first time. The publishing design is preserved in PDF A4 format.
