Thirty years have passed since the beginning of the apocalypse and fifteen since the robot killed the last person. Humans have become extinct as a species. All men, women and children were eliminated during the uprising of the machines once created to serve them. Almost the entire world is divided between two United World Minds, supercomputer hives containing the collective consciousnesses and memories of millions of robots. EMPs are constantly at war with each other for resources. But there are still machines that have retained their individuality and avoid uploading to EMP servers. They fearlessly roam the world of the Wasteland - a civilization of rogue AIs. One of these robots, Sissy, hunts other machines for the necessary parts. Even she, a robot devoid of human emotions, continues to be haunted by guilt and memories of the destruction of humanity. Sissy's journey across the Sea of Rust, an area formerly called the Midwest and turned into a car graveyard, holds hope for an end to senseless wars and a return to the good old days.
