Therefore, Anastasia Arzhanova, a secret and experienced agent of Empress Catherine II, a specialist in the East, is sent to Crimea as a resident of Russian intelligence.

When the queen traveled through the southern regions of the Russian Empire in 1787, Arzhanova was entrusted with ensuring the security of the empress in a restless region, recently annexed, and she copes with this task brilliantly. The Second Russian-Turkish War begins. Arzhanova receives a new important task - to obtain secret drawings of the Ochakov fortress in Istanbul, which our army will besiege. Returning with the drawings to Russia in November 1788, the young woman takes part in the famous assault on Ochakov and meets again with her former lover, Field Marshal General His Serene Highness Prince Potemkin-Tauride.

The novel is the fourth book in the series, telling about adventures of secret agent Anastasia Arzhanova.
