Aristotle wrote: “To love means to wish someone what you consider good, for his sake, that is, for this person, and not for his own sake, and to try to the best of his ability to provide him with these goods.” According to Freud, love is reduced to primitive sexuality, which is one of the main incentives for human development; it is a kind of irrational concept, from which the spiritual principle is excluded.
