Книга "Погнута шабля" вражає своєю глибиною та емоційною напругою. Автор майстерно передає атмосферу Корнуолла початку 19 століття, а також захоплююче зображує життя в Парижі під час наполеонівських війн. Сюжет сповнений інтриг, романтики та драматичних моментів, які тримають у напрузі до останньої сторінки. Демельза та Росс стають ще більш складними та багатогранними персонажами, їхні стосунки проходять через випробування, які змушують читача переживати за них, відчувати їхні радощі та горе. Особливо вражає таємниця, яку Демельза не може розкрити, адже це додає додаткового напруження до сюжету. Книга дійсно є однією з найкращих у серії, і я б рекомендував її всім, хто любить історичні романи з елементами драми та романтики. Читання цієї книги стало для мене справжнім задоволенням!
