The story is based on the author's personal observations of the life of a compact group of Soviet people in one of the African countries. The events take place in the seventies of the last century. The scene is the Soviet embassy in one of the countries of West Africa. The intrigue of the story lies in the fact that in such groups there were many rules of behavior, deviation from which was strictly prohibited. Everyone in the colony watched each other very closely and tried to catch each other. But since no one fully knew all the rules, the situation often got out of control, and the most unexpected outcome came. In the story, there is a constant struggle between elementary everyday logic and far-fetched, far-fetched standards of behavior for the builders of communism. This story can be considered an absurd comedy.

Вражаюча повість про життя у радянському посольстві!
"Темна матерія" - це справжній шедевр, який переносить читача в атмосферу 70-х років минулого століття, коли радянські люди намагалися адаптуватися до життя в чужій країні. Автор майстерно описує складну соціальну структуру та правила поведінки, які панували в компактному колективі, змушуючи читача замислитися над абсурдністю деяких норм і стандартів. Інтриги, що виникають у повісті, тримають у напрузі, а боротьба між життєвою логікою та надуманими стандартами поведінки створює комічні ситуації, які викликають щирий сміх. Книга не лише розважає, але й змушує задуматися про природу людських відносин та соціальні обмеження. Рекомендую всім, хто цінує глибокі, але водночас легкі для сприйняття твори!
