In the book of A. I. Asov, a writer and literary critic, for the first time the legends about the gods and ancestors of the Slavs are collected and presented, a collection of sources on the ancient Slavic pagan (Vedic) culture is given and quotes from these sources of Slavic mythology are given. The book presents unique illustrations of Slavic pre-Christian art. What makes this publication particularly valuable is the fact that it is the first to publish a complete, updated translation of the “Book of Veles,” which can be called the sacred scripture of the Slavs. The book is published in the author's edition.
