The book “Mysteries of the Roman Genealogy of the Rurikovichs” is dedicated to the famous legend about the origin of Rurik from the mythical Prus, a relative of the ancient Roman emperor Augustus. Despite the obvious artificiality of the genealogy itself, it is based on echoes of legends about the former location of the Rus in the north of modern Poland and the border with Prussia, which is confirmed by a number of independent sources. This legend provides the key with which we can not only learn about the relationship of the Rus with the Goths, Rugs and Vandals during the Great Migration of Peoples, but also determine where the original ancestral home of our ancestors was located and how exactly the name of our people arose. The book is intended for both historians and a wide range of readers interested in the origins of their people.
