Svarog - the creator of the Slavic world, the patron and teacher of the ancient Slavs - not only participated in all the events of the earthly life of our distant ancestors, but was also associated with their transition to the afterlife. The Slavs perceived the burning of the dead at the stake as a fiery road to the heavenly palaces of their god. The author dedicated part of the book to the mysterious god of the Baltic Slavs, the son of Svarog, Radigost-Svarozhich, whose mystical image is closely associated with such legendary attributes as the griffin and the ax. Radiogost was especially revered on the southern coast of the Baltic, where the Slavs lived in ancient times and where the legendary Varangians came from.
