Our distant ancestors already had a myth at the very dawn of history, and this myth was so comprehensive that it permeated almost all aspects of material and spiritual life and ultimately formed a unique worldview. This myth was about Dazhbog and the origin of the great tribe of Slavs from him. Our ancestors firmly knew how and why they were born on Earth, what their true essence and true purpose were. Myth gave them a holistic system of perception of the world and indicated the direction of movement, filling life with higher meaning. In terms of its significance, the solar myth can be called the main one in the religion of the Slavs.
