The third volume of the collected works of the classic of the Silver Age and Russian diaspora Boris Konstantinovich Zaitsev (1881–1972) is composed of works that diversify the work of the writer of the emigrant period. These are the novels “The Golden Pattern” (1924) and unknown to Russian readers “The House in Passy” ( 1933), the travel book “Italy” (1923), first published in our country, short stories and the innovative story “Anna” (1928), which outlined the unexpected realistic facets of the talent of an outstanding master of lyrical prose.
