The first is “The Society of the Spectacle” (or, in another translation, “The Society of the Spectacle”) by Guy Ernest Debord, the second is “A Treatise on the Ability to Live for Younger Generations.” Since the English translation of Raoul Vaneigem’s book was published under the title “The Revolution of Everyday Life”, and the English language is the language of the winner, the language of world cultural imperialism, Vaneigem’s book is known in the world mainly under the second, English, title. The tradition of the "Hour" series - publishing books with a mandatory subtitle - provided a rare opportunity to combine both titles of this Situationist Bible.
