General fragments of systems theory are presented. Based on models taken from nature, fundamentally new ideas about systems theory are created. The general principles of constructing natural systems are considered. All of them are generalized and common properties, structural elements and functions are found for all. On this basis, a universal definition of systems is formulated. The well-known and author's understanding of the essence of systems is generalized based on the hypothesis about the physical picture of the world.
