Grandfather Misha tells his grandson Vova a traditional evening fairy tale: its plot is based on the Bunny's journey through the winter forest with a New Year's gift for Grandmother and his clash with the Wolf and the Fox. Thanks to karate training, the Bunny overcomes his eternal enemies and successfully brings a New Year's gift to Grandmother. But during the fairy tale, Vova's grandmother, Baba Lena, intervenes. She offers her own version: in this fairy tale, the Bunny copes with the Wolf and the Fox thanks to his knowledge of the secrets of psychological pressure on the enemy and removing him out of peace of mind. The Bunny achieves the neutralization of the Wolf and the Fox and safely runs to Grandmother and gives her a New Year's gift. Baba Lena, a professor of psychiatry, gives out another version of the evening New Year's tale for the boy Vova. In it, the Bunny finds an approach to the hearts of the Wolf and the Fox: he invites the Wolf to visit Grandmother, and he does the Fox’s hair and treats her sore paws. This is how he neutralizes the aggression of his eternal opponents. They become his friends.
