In Ancient Rus', two worlds coexisted next to each other. In one world, Dobrynya Nikitich is a Novgorod boyar, a hero and a faithful Christian, but in difficult times of internecine war he is forced to rush between his bride and his mistress, between Novgorod and Kiev. In another world, Dobrynya ceases to even be a human, he receives magical powers and must fight monsters that terrify the entire human race. Here he meets his main enemy, the Serpent Gorynych, and his main friend, the hero Ilya Muromets. But how can you avoid becoming a monster yourself, possessing such magical power, and can magic help stop the fratricidal war in Rus'?
