The book of the poet and critic Mikhail Aizenberg “Test Prints” includes those small works whose genre seems to be looking for its place between the sketch, memoirs and essays. In this space “between genres” the author places memories of the times later called the “era of stagnation”, about some people, more or less famous figures of unofficial culture. “The seventies somehow especially tried not to be noticed,” writes Eisenberg and carefully restores personal impressions, snippets of conversations, details of the cultural background of that era, which, in his opinion, passed unnoticed.
