This textbook on Dzogchen practices is written in the form of personal instructions from Shardza T.G. - a recognized Dzogchen master - to his students and supplemented by comments from Lopon T.N. The book contains detailed practical instructions and reveals the very essence of Dzogchen techniques. Shardza Tashi Gyaltsen (1859 - 1935) was born in Tibet in the Kham region. An unusually gifted child, he became a monk at the age of nine. At thirty-four, he retired to the mountains, where he spent the rest of his life as a hermit - meditating, compiling books and teaching students following the traditions of Buddhism and Bonpo. Lopon Tenzin Namdak was born in 1926 in Eastern Tibet. He is the founder and Master of Science of the Bonpo monastic colleges in Dolanji (India) and Kathmandu (Nepal). The purpose and practice of the mind is the topic of this text. With its help, you can eliminate all fog and negativity of the mind, and also eliminate all worries and stop desires. And ultimately achieve the Dharmakaya. This text is presented for the benefit of all living beings, and not just for some limited circle of people. The full name of the text translated here is: “The Teaching on the Development of Great Perfection, called the Drops of the Heart of the Dharmakaya” ('od gsal rdzogs pa chen po'i lam gyi rim pa khrid yig kun tu bzang po'i snying tig shes bya ba bjugs)
