Guy Mettan is a Swiss journalist, politician and public figure. Since 2001, he has been a member of the Grand Council (parliament) of the canton of Geneva and served as its chairman. Regularly published in leading French-language newspapers in Switzerland. He received a degree in political science from the University of Geneva, where he has lived since 1975. 1992–1998 - Editor-in-Chief of the influential newspaper Tribune de Geneve. 1997–2018 - Director of the Swiss Press Club. The author of 9 books that cover the most important issues of international relations, as well as geopolitics and humanitarian activities. In his new book “The Confused Continent.
