Роман «Будинок, який збудував Дід» вражає своєю глибиною та емоційністю. Автор майстерно передає атмосферу епохи, в якій розгортаються події, і показує, як історичні катаклізми впливають на життя простих людей, зокрема на молоде покоління дворянського роду Олексіних.
