It tells about the history of a person’s relationship with psychoactive substances. It is the first in the series “Give me a fulcrum and I will turn the whole world upside down.” The author, relying on his life and professional experience, tries to understand the conditions that contributed to the sharp growth of human consciousness and intelligence during the origin of the species “Homo sapiens” and during the Great Neolithic revolution. Comparing ancient myths, tales and legends of different nations about the origin of man, he puts forward a hypothesis about the localization of Paradise and gives a biological definition of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Along the way, many historical secrets are revealed, and fairy-tale and mythical plots acquire a clear meaning and rational basis. All this is being done with the aim of creating conditions for a sharp growth of human consciousness in today’s day and its transition to another evolutionary level of development, for the transformation of “Homo sapiens” into “Homo ethicalus”, a reasonable person into an ethical person.
