John Milton - great English poet and thinker of the 17th century. Milton's poems and dramas, sonnets and treatises deal with the most important issues for humans - the struggle between good and evil, ethics and politics, creativity and compromise, freedom and law, etc. The epic poem "Paradise Lost" is written on a biblical story about the struggle between Satan and God , Evil and Good. This is a Christian epic about the indignation of the angels who fell away from God and the fall of man. The poem “Paradise Regained” conveys the story of the temptation of Jesus Christ by the spirit of evil. The collection also includes sonnets, psalms and other poetic works of the poet.
