The first post-Soviet year 1992. Northern Caucasus, a former Cossack village where Red Army soldiers were settled after the civil war. Since then, the population has mixed, but with the collapse of the Union, it again became fashionable in the village to divide into “Cossacks” and “Red Army men”. It seemed that a split was brewing... But suddenly a circumstance arose that unexpectedly united the “Reds” and the “Whites”. These turned out to be several families of Armenian refugees who bought empty houses in the village...
