Many generations of our ancestors over the centuries have created a harmonious everyday calendar, consisting of joyful and sad days, of worries and relaxation, fairy tales and fortune-telling. This book is, of course, not a strictly scientific study. It is written with humor and invention. However, with all the ease of presentation, the authors there talk about Russian holidays without near-historical tales. So it's both entertainment and education. The story about habits and customs for a particular holiday is accompanied by recipes. But it turns out that you can study history not only from a textbook. But also simply, drinking tea at the table. The book was published with the support of the Museum of Russian Dessert in Zvenigorod. And illustrated with paintings by the artist Maria Feina.
