"Psalter" is a book of scriptures of the Old Testament, containing forty-five psalms, written in the Cyrillic script with accents. These psalms have religious significance and are used for prayer and worship. The name of the book "Psalter" comes from the Greek word "ψαλτήριον", which means "stringed instrument". This book is known for its poetic beauty and practical guidance on virtue, faith and compassion. It has become an important part of religious services of various Christian denominations and has survived numerous translations into various languages of the world, including Ukrainian.
