Working methods successfully used by the Moscow Center for Curative Pedagogy and other organizations to help children with various developmental disorders. They involve the participation of different specialists, each of whom makes their own contribution to the development of the child; building on his strengths and respect for his personality. The basic principle: any child, with the right approach, can develop and realize their potential. A new direction of research presented in the collection relates to special diets. The nutritional approach is aimed at identifying the biological causes of diseases that manifest themselves in the child’s psyche. A translation of the article “Neuropsychological Foundations of Understanding Autism” is also published, which examines in detail various theories that explain behavioral characteristics in autism from the point of view of a particular neuropsychological disorder.
