This publication includes three of the most significant works of the famous philosopher and political thinker of the Russian diaspora I.A. Ilyin (1883–1954), which give a holistic idea of his philosophical, ethical and political views. The significance of philosophy lies in the fact that it brings about the most complete and direct communion with the true spiritual reality. Everything else in life and spiritual culture contains the experience of communion with a higher reality only in a partial, obscured, distorted form and therefore inevitably presupposes “enlightenment”, a deepening to philosophical experience. In this regard, along with the concept of the act of evidence, Ilyin will use the concepts of “philosophical act” and “philosophical experience” as equivalent to it. Only in the works of the last period of creativity will these concepts be replaced by the concepts of “religious act” and “religious experience”. The act of evidence, the philosophical act, is analyzed in particular detail in three works (which are texts of speeches), compiled by Ilyin in the book “The Religious Meaning of Philosophy”
