When talking about the architecture of the Third Reich, the following words are usually used: gigantomania, megalomania, “delusions of grandeur.” Perhaps no political regime in the history of mankind has received such frequent accusations of gigantomania as the National Socialist dictatorship. However, can all the architecture of the Third Reich be classified as monumental? Did National Socialist architecture even exist? And if so, what were the features of this architectural style?
