Having barely opened the “Short Book of Farewells”, the reader may exclaim: this is Kharms! The same short stories, the same black humor, although closer to today's realities. At first glance, it looks like some kind of crumbling mosaic, connections are being broken every now and then, everything is slipping away and unsteady. But the deeper you dive into the text, the more clearly you begin to understand that all these grotesque situations and strange heroes - Nikolai and Socrates, Zabolot and Marisha Potopa - are closely connected by what has gone, is going or can go. And then the collection of mini-short stories ultimately turns out to be a multifaceted novel, which the author slyly remains silent about, but this discovery is all the more important for the reader. In 2016, “A Brief Book of Farewells” was awarded the V. G. Korolenko National Union of Writers of Ukraine .

Вражаюче поєднання чорного гумору та глибоких роздумів!
«Коротка книга прощань» — це справжній літературний шедевр, який не залишає байдужим. Автор вміло використовує стиль Хармса, створюючи короткі оповідання, які на перший погляд можуть здатися хаотичними, але насправді мають глибокий зміст. Кожен персонаж, від Миколи до Сократа, є яскравим відображенням сучасності, і їхні історії переплітаються в єдину мозаїку, що змушує задуматися про важливість прощання та втрат. Чим більше я читав, тим більше розумів, що це не просто збірка оповідань, а багатоплановий роман, що відкриває нові горизонти сприйняття. Книга вражає своєю оригінальністю та глибиною, і я б рекомендував її всім, хто цінує нестандартний підхід до літератури. Не дивно, що вона була відзначена премією Національної спілки письменників України!
