From the main, all-encompassing hatred of the “democrats” towards the communists and Soviet power, follows their sub-hatred towards Soviet history, including the history of the Great Patriotic War, i.e. the way they are written and known. Why? Therefore, they say that the Chekists wrote history “and gave us a story in which there is not a drop of truth.” We always knew that this was a war for the freedom and independence of our homeland or, as the poet said, “for the sake of life on earth.” . Nothing of the kind, they tell us: “The war was, first of all, a class war of two ideologies, into which the communists plunged our people.” The Red Army, they tell us, started the war under the banners with the motto of the “Communist Manifesto”: “Workers of all countries, unite!” This is an illiterate lie of people who have never in their lives not only marched under the battle flags of their homeland, but have never even seen them. Then who inspired this in them - was it not the literary corporal Radzinsky? The ideologies, ours and the fascists, were, of course, directly opposite, but the corporal lied: there was no quotation from the “Manifesto” on our banners. The war, they say, was ideological to such an extent that “before ideology, military expediency had no meaning.” . And we defended Leningrad so stubbornly only because it is the “cradle of the revolution,” right? The Germans were so frantically trying to capture Stalingrad only for the reason, of course, that it bore the name of our leader, etc. Merciful God, what a capacious vessel is a human head! How much nonsense can fit in it and remain there for many years in a state, always ready for use after shaking. These blessed ones simply have no idea what the war was...
