The book by Vladimir Bushin - a brilliant publicist, writer, literary critic - is dedicated to those people whose activities can be called subversive in relation to the national foundations of Russia. Great historical figures, starting from Alexander Nevsky and ending with Marshal Zhukov, Russian scientists, writers, poets are ridiculed, streams of lies fall on them. The feat of our people in the Great Patriotic War also evokes the hatred of the “fifth column” and the desire to belittle it, which especially hurts the front-line author. He gives a sharp rebuke to all these “researchers” and “truth-seekers”, exposes their slander against our past; “persons close to power” do not go unnoticed either.
