CHRISTINE NESTLINGER is an Austrian writer, one of the most interesting and original writers of world children's literature. She is the winner of the International H. C. Andersen Prize, the European Literary Prize, the German Children's Literature Prize, the Astrid Lindgren Prize and many others. She has written more than a hundred books for children and teenagers.
